The Northern California Narrow Gaugers Club is located in the Sacramento area of Northern California. The club is mostly about having fun and sharing ideas. We meet informally once a month, in the morning, on the second Saturday, in Rocklin, California. We typically share our current modeling, drink a lot of coffee, eat donuts (and fruit), an occasionally have a discussion about some specific club business. We do not collect dues, but we occasionally pass the hat to fund some club need.

We use to build modules and participate in local railroad events where we would display a large module layout. However, due to age, lack of interest and lack of local event opportunities we have discontinued the module layout and we now just get together to share ideas / discuss model railroading of all scales.

If you are interested in joining our club, please feel free to contact me (see Contact page) and I will get you on our email list. I typically, remind everyone about a week before a meeting.

Also, look for the Northern California Narrow Gaugers On30 Public Group on Facebook!

The following is a slide gallery of images from past events where we displayed our module layout. Following the slide show is a video link of our layout at an event in November 2017. Enjoy!

This is a tour of the Northern California Narrow Gaugers Railway as setup at the State Rail Museum in Sacramento. Besides the track view from the train I went ahead and added some shots from the trackside as this adds considerably to the overall effect of the layout tour!
