One of my modeling passions is building structures. Most of the structures on my layout and modules are scratch built, or at the very least, bashed from kits. I am always experimenting with different techniques, including: paper texture images down loaded from the internet; balsa or bass wood; and styrene plastic. I paint and weather using cheap acrylic paints, oil paints/washes, and weathering powders and chalks. I rarely follow a plan, but I do a lot of book and internet research, collecting images that I use as inspiration for my models. Double Click on any image for a larger view.
